I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this mixed font HB with matching dies! [This has become a favorite.]
Thanks for stopping by~

I also adore Pinterest for finding inspiration! I must say, I love my card.
I used papers from CutCardStock, and love this color combo. Works perfectly for a masculine card! I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Birthday using SS products.
Your turn! You have all month to join in over at The Male Room Challenge and show us your geometrical card.
There are lots of very small parts for Rupert - hence the time it takes [me] to get him to pose!
I felt he needed something in the background so I did some ink swiping in purples, and stenciling in blacj. I like the end result. He will work well for my great nephew!
Your turn - just upload your mythical birthday card over at AAA Birthday. This should be a fun gallery.
I decided to use the freebie that came with my order - the Whittle Tree Border Die. That in turn had me making a fun outside water scene. (For the shadows in the water, I flipped the negative die cut from cutting out the trees, and used it as a stencil! Gotta love a dual freebie 😉.)
I also used one of the Happy Birthdays from Birthday Banners Stamp Set. (How fabulous that this set has matching dies!) For this card, I didn't use them, but you can be sure I will be in the future.
Okay, it's your turn! The challenge runs all month, and there is a prize for a random drawn winner. You do need to use at least one stamp or die from Poppy Stamp. Tell them you saw it here~ Have fun!
Thanks Poppy Stamps for the invite! I had a blast playing along~
I'm back to my normal scheduling of ECD day. I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial. For the next few weeks, I will be highlighting my cards made for the Sunny Days Release. I made quite a few cards, and I will enjoy sharing them with all of you.
For today's project, I used the Everyday Elements Beetles & Bugs Combo, #2238, [This set comes with stamps and matching dies.] to make a couple of fun tags.
I used the Colorful Collective Paper for my background paper layering, and then stamped, colored, and cut out the bugs. The sentiments are from Flowers & Nature Stamp Set, and Playful Sentiments.
I do love some fun tags! See you next week~
I have a tutorial over on the ECD blog for an easy way to use your designer paper. I'm also posting it here as I'm not sure what the procedure is for tutorials with this company, plus I don't have a link until today, and I created this post a while ago.
Here is the end result:
Step one: Chose your Designer Paper. I used a few sheets from the newly release, Colorful Collective Paper Pad. Cut a 1" strip from each sheet, and start tearing the edges. [To get the “white” part, tear towards yourself.]
Step Three: Pick any stamp/die image that you want to use [I used the Everyday Elements, Beetles & Bugs Stamps with matching dies, and Picture Frames & Mats] and adhere those onto your card base.
If you are like me and physical coloring is a challenge, simply stamp your image on some (more) designer paper, and die cut the image out. Yet another use for designer paper!
Step Four: Add a sentiment. [I used a sentiment from Everyday Elements, Playful Sentiments.]
I do love this technique for using designer paper. I have a lot in my stash and plan on using this in the future. I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy tutorial, and give it a try yourself!
